Care Instructions: Freezer compatible. Store in a cool, dry place. Before first use, unbox and remove any labels and packaging, then wash in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. To condition the non-stick surface, apply vegetable or corn oil using a paper towel, rinse with hot water, and dry well (do not condition the black exterior sidewall). When cooking, always use oven gloves to protect yourself from heat, and for best results, use Le Creuset Silicone Tools or wooden/heat-resistant plastic utensils. Metal utensils can be used with care but should not be used harshly or scraped over the non-stick surface. Avoid hand-held electric or battery-operated beaters, blenders, and sharp tools inside the pans as they may damage the coating. Use the appropriately sized hob ring to ensure even cooking, particularly with induction hobs. For frying and searing, medium to low heat is recommended to prevent damage and guarantee even cooking. When cooking fat-free, preheat on medium heat for around 2 minutes before adding food, and never leave the product unattended to avoid overheating. Always lift, never slide, the cookware on glass-top stoves to avoid damage. When cleaning, wait until the product cools down before washing, and avoid using harsh abrasive pads. Hand wash in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly to preserve the non-stick surface. For best longevity, avoid regular dishwasher use to prevent dulling of the enamel finish.
